Event Announcements
Post announcements visible to all contractors on an event.
Announcements let you broadcast important information to every contractor working on an event. Use them for anything that affects the whole team — schedule changes, safety warnings, weather updates, or general instructions.
Creating an announcement
- Open the event from the Dashboard.
- Click the Announcements tab.
- Click New Announcement.
- Write your message in the text field.
- Click Post Announcement.
The announcement appears immediately for all contractors assigned to the event.
Who sees announcements
Every contractor with access to the event sees the announcement in their mobile app. Announcements appear on the event's main screen, so contractors see them as soon as they open the event. There is no way to target a subset of contractors — announcements always go to the entire event team.
Common use cases
- Schedule changes — "Installation start moved to 9am Thursday due to venue access."
- Weather and safety — "High winds forecast for tomorrow. Secure all freestanding signs before leaving site."
- Updated instructions — "Use the loading dock entrance on Level B1 instead of the main door."
- Milestones — "Great work — 80% of signs are now installed. Push to finish by Friday."
Managing announcements
Announcements appear in reverse chronological order, with the newest at the top. You can edit or delete any announcement from the Announcements tab by clicking the ... menu next to the post.
Keep announcements short and action-oriented. Contractors read them on their phones between tasks, so one or two sentences with a clear instruction work best.
