PDF reports give you print-ready documents to share with clients, hand to contractors, or file for your records. Signplanr offers two report types: sign schedules and completion reports.

Navigating to export

  1. Open your event and click the Export tab.
  2. You see the available export formats. Click PDF Report to configure your report.

Choosing a report type

Sign schedule

A sign schedule lists every sign in the event with its number, type, location, instructions, and current status. Use this as a printed handout for contractors or a deliverable for clients.

Completion report

A completion report focuses on progress. It includes sign statuses, completion percentages, and timestamps showing when signs were marked as installed. Use this to demonstrate project progress to stakeholders.

Applying filters

Before generating, you can narrow the report to specific signs:

  • Status — include only signs with a particular status (e.g. pending, installed, approved).
  • Sign type — filter to one or more sign types.
  • Map — include only signs placed on a specific map.
  • Assigned contractor — include only signs assigned to a particular contractor.

Select your filters, then click Generate PDF.

Use filters to create contractor-specific schedules. Filter by assigned contractor and print a personalised sign list for each team member.

Downloading the report

Once Signplanr generates the PDF, click Download. The file saves to your device with a name that includes the event name and report type (e.g. Music-Festival-Sign-Schedule.pdf).
