Cancelling Your Subscription
Cancel your subscription — your data is preserved read-only.
If you no longer need a paid plan, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your data is not deleted — it is preserved in a read-only state so you can still access it.
How to cancel
- Go to Organisation Settings in the sidebar and click Billing.
- Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Click Cancel Plan.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your organisation moves to the Free tier.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. You keep full access to your paid plan features until then.
What happens to your data
Signplanr uses a soft-limit downgrade approach. When your subscription ends:
- All your data is preserved. Events, signs, photos, maps, and documents remain intact.
- Existing data becomes read-only. You can view and export everything, but you cannot create new events or signs beyond the Free tier limits.
- New creation is blocked if you exceed Free tier limits (1 event, 10 signs, 3 contractors, 1 GB storage).
- Nothing is deleted. Signplanr never force-deletes your data due to a downgrade.
Reactivating your subscription
Changed your mind? You can upgrade again at any time from the Billing page. Your data is still there, so you pick up right where you left off.
- Go to Organisation Settings and click Billing.
- Click Upgrade on the plan you want.
- Complete the Stripe Checkout flow.
Your paid features and limits are restored immediately.
