Adding Sign Comments

Leave comments on signs to communicate with the organiser.

If you have a question about a sign, need to flag a problem on-site, or want to share an update with the organiser, you can leave a comment directly on the sign. The organiser sees your comment and can reply in the same thread.

Adding a comment

  1. Open the sign from your sign list or map view.
  2. Scroll to the Comments section at the bottom of the sign detail page.
  3. Tap the comment input field and type your message.
  4. Tap Send.

Your comment appears in the thread immediately. The organiser is notified and can respond.

Viewing organiser replies

When the organiser replies to your comment, the response appears in the same thread below your message. Comments are displayed in chronological order so the full conversation is easy to follow.

Check the comments section when you arrive at a sign location. The organiser may have left last-minute instructions or updates that are not reflected in the main sign details.

When to use comments

Comments are useful for:

  • Reporting site issues — "The wall surface is damaged, sign cannot be mounted as planned."
  • Asking for clarification — "Instructions say left of entrance but there are two entrances. Which one?"
  • Providing status updates — "Sign installed but slightly higher than spec due to an obstruction. See photo 3."
  • Flagging discrepancies — "Received sign is a different size than the artwork shows."

Comments you add while offline are queued and sync automatically when your connection returns. See Offline Mode and Background Sync.
