A new capability that bridges the gap between site assessment and sign installation — all within Signplanr.
Survey creation & assignment — Organisers create survey tasks for specific locations at their events and assign them to contractors in the field. Upload reference photos of the area so contractors know exactly what to assess.
Photo annotation tools — Contractors get a purpose-built mobile annotation editor to mark up photos with:
- Arrows with measurement labels (e.g. 2.4m, 150mm)
- Angle measurements with three-point arcs for corners and slopes
- Text callouts placed anywhere on the photo
- Freeform drawing to circle features, sketch boundaries, and highlight areas
- Six preset colours for colour-coded annotations
- 20-step undo/redo for experimenting freely
- Pinch to zoom for fine detail work
Review & convert — Once submitted, the organiser reviews the work and with one click can convert a completed survey straight into a sign record — photos, annotations, and all. No re-entering data.
Offline-ready — Like everything else in the contractor app, surveys work without signal and sync when connectivity returns.
