The details that make it trustworthy
The numbers on the Overview are the same numbers on each event's own dashboard — computed once, in the database, from one definition.
Awaiting review respects each event's workflow — simple-workflow events never show phantom review queues.
Rejected work is a chip, not a bar segment, so the bar stays readable for colour-blind users.
Survey health and open jobs appear per row for organisations with the Site Surveys add-on.

A sign added, a status changed, a photo uploaded, a survey or job created or progressed. Any of those resets the clock. An active event with none of them for seven days is flagged as stalled — drafts and completed events are expected to be quiet and never are.
