Managing Contractor Assignments

Assign specific signs to contractors so they know exactly what to install.

When your event uses assigned mode, each contractor only sees the signs you assign to them. This keeps large events organised and ensures every contractor has a clear scope of work.

Assignment modes

Your event's assignment mode controls what contractors can see:

  • All — every contractor sees every sign. No assignments needed.
  • Assigned — contractors only see signs explicitly assigned to them.

You set the assignment mode when creating the event or change it later in Event Settings.

Assigning signs to a contractor

  1. Open your event and click the Contractors tab.
  2. Select a contractor from the list.
  3. Click Assign Signs.
  4. A list of all signs in the event appears. Check the signs you want to assign to this contractor.
  5. Click Save Assignments.

The contractor now sees only those signs in their mobile app.

Bulk assignment

To assign many signs at once:

  1. Go to the Signs tab and select multiple signs using the checkboxes.
  2. Click Bulk Actions and choose Assign to Contractor.
  3. Select the contractor from the dropdown.
  4. Click Assign.

All selected signs are assigned in one step.

Multiple contractors can be assigned to the same sign. This is useful when different contractors handle different aspects of an installation, or when you want a backup installer.

Removing assignments

To unassign a sign from a contractor, open the contractor's assignment list and uncheck the sign. The contractor loses visibility of that sign immediately.
