Tax Invoices and Receipts

Every Signplanr payment comes with a tax invoice and a receipt. Organisation owners and admins can download both as PDFs at any time.

Finding your invoices

1. Go to Settings in the sidebar, then click Invoices. You can also open Billing and click View all invoices under Recent invoices.
2. Each payment shows its invoice number, date, total and GST.
3. Click Invoice to download the tax invoice, or Receipt to download proof of payment.

Click Load older invoices at the bottom of the list to see earlier payments.

Invoice or receipt?

• Tax invoice: the invoice as it was issued. It lists what you bought, the service period, the GST amount, and both businesses' details and ABNs. Use it for your BAS and your records.
• Receipt: confirms the payment, with the amount paid, the date and the card used. Use it when someone asks for proof that the invoice was paid.

You also get both by email: after each successful payment, Stripe sends your billing contact a receipt email with the invoice and receipt PDFs attached.

Getting your business details on invoices

Your invoices show the company name, billing address and ABN from Billing → Billing details. If any are missing, the Invoices page shows a reminder.

1. Open Billing and scroll to Billing details.
2. Enter your company name, address and ABN, then click Save billing details.

Changes apply to future invoices. Invoices that have already been issued can't be changed.

Refunds

If we refund a payment, you get a credit note. It appears under the invoice it adjusts, with its own PDF, and the invoice is marked Refunded or Partly refunded.

Unpaid invoices

If a card payment fails, the invoice shows Payment due with a Pay now button. Pay it there, or update your card from the Billing page.

Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans billed directly by Signplanr receive their invoices by email. Contact contact@signplanr.com for a copy.
