Using the Map Editor
Navigate the Konva-powered map editor — pan, zoom, select signs, and use the sidebar.
The map editor is where you place, move, and inspect signs on your image maps. It is built on a canvas-based engine that supports smooth panning, zooming, and direct interaction with sign pins.

The sidebar sign list
The left sidebar shows all signs in the current event. Each entry displays the sign number, type, and status. Signs that are already placed on the current map show a map pin icon next to their name.
- Click a sign in the sidebar to pan the map to its location (if placed).
- Drag a sign from the sidebar onto the map to place it.
- Filter the list by status, type, or search by sign number using the filter bar at the top.
Viewing sign details
Click any pin on the map to open the sign detail panel on the right. The panel shows:
- Sign number and type.
- Current status (e.g.
pending,installed,approved). - Assigned contractors.
- Uploaded photos (if any).
- A link to open the full sign edit page.
Double-click a pin to jump directly to the sign's full edit page without going through the detail panel.
Zoom to fit
Click the Fit button in the toolbar to zoom the map so all placed signs are visible at once. This is helpful when you have signs spread across a large area.
