When an organiser assigns a survey to you, it appears in the Surveys section of the event in your mobile app. Your job is to visit the location, annotate photos with measurements, and submit the completed work.

Steps

  1. Open the event in the contractor app and tap Surveys.
  2. Find your assigned survey — surveys are grouped by location.
  3. Tap the survey to open its detail page.
  4. Annotate reference photos — if the organiser uploaded reference photos, tap any photo to open the annotation editor. Add arrows, angles, measurements, and notes.
  5. Take new photos — tap Take New Photo to capture a new image from your camera or gallery. Then annotate it.
  6. Add notes — add per-photo notes and/or overall survey notes to provide additional context.
  7. When finished, tap Submit Survey.

You can work on surveys offline. Photos, annotations, and notes will sync automatically when you reconnect.

Photo limits

Each survey supports up to 10 photos total, including both organiser reference photos and your field photos.

What happens after you submit

  • The survey status changes to Submitted and your name and timestamp are recorded.
  • The organiser reviews your submission. They may approve it or reject it with feedback.
  • If rejected, you'll see the rejection reason and can edit your work and resubmit.
  • Once approved, the survey is marked Reviewed and you can no longer edit it.
