Restoring Deleted Surveys
Deleted surveys are kept for 30 days — restore them from Recently deleted before they're permanently purged.
Deleting a survey doesn't erase it straight away. Surveys are soft-deleted and kept for a grace period, so an accidental deletion is easy to undo.
How deletion works
When you delete a survey, it's removed from the surveys list but retained for 30 days. During that time it can be restored. After 30 days it's permanently purged and can no longer be recovered.
Soft delete keeps everything attached to the survey — its photos, notes, comments, and answers — until the survey is purged.
Restoring a survey
- Go to organisation settings.
- Open Recently deleted.
- Find the survey you want to bring back and restore it.
The survey returns to the surveys list with its photos, notes, comments, and answers intact.
Restore only works within the 30-day retention window. Once a survey is purged, it cannot be recovered.
