Your Jobs On Site

For contractors — find your assigned survey jobs, read the brief, get directions, call the site contact, and start the work.

When an organiser assigns you a survey job, it shows up in the app as a single piece of work with everything you need to do it — the site address, who to call, what's involved, and the surveys to complete.

Finding your jobs

Open the event and tap My Jobs. Your assigned jobs are listed with the most urgent first (overdue dates lead), each showing its progress ("3 of 9 done"), due date, and a construction-site badge where it applies. The event card on your home screen also shows a jobs count so you can see at a glance where you have work.

A job only appears once it's released to you. If an organiser scheduled it for a future date, it won't show up until then.

Reading the brief

Open a job to see its Brief:

  • Customer and site address — tap Directions to open the address in your maps app.
  • Site contact — tap Call to phone them directly.
  • Scope of works and General information — the detail of the work; long text collapses with a Show more.
  • Project folder — a link to any external documents.
  • Requested by — who asked for the work.

The brief is cached on your device after your first visit, so you can still read the key details if you lose signal on site.

Getting to the surveys

A job lists its surveys with their status. Tap Start (or Resume/View) on a survey to open it and capture your photos and answers as usual — see Completing a survey. Where surveys are placed on a map, a View on map card takes you straight to the map filtered to this job.

Construction sites

If the job is a construction site, the first time you tap Start you'll be asked to acknowledge a site induction — read the site information, tick the box, type your name, and tap Acknowledge & Start. You only do this once per job. See Construction-site inductions.
