Survey Due Dates

Set an optional complete-by date on a site survey. Overdue surveys appear at the top of contractor lists.

Each site survey can have an optional Due Date — the date the survey needs to be completed by. Surveys with due dates show overdue/due-today badges on both the organiser table and the contractor mobile app, and the contractor's list auto-sorts so the most urgent surveys appear first.

The mechanics are the same as sign due dates — read that article for badge colour rules and what contractors see.

Setting a survey due date

  1. Open the event and go to the Surveys tab.
  2. Click New survey (or open an existing survey and click Edit).
  3. Pick a date in the Due date field, or use a quick-pick chip.
  4. Click Save.

Surveys without a due date are fine — the field is optional.

Filtering and sorting

In the surveys table you can filter by Overdue / Due today / Due this week / Due this month / No due date, and the Due column is sortable.

What happens when a survey is converted to a sign

When you convert a completed survey to a sign, the survey's due date is not carried across. The new sign starts without a due date — the install-by deadline is a separate decision from the survey-by deadline. Set a sign due date manually after conversion if you want one.

Permissions

Organisers (owner, admin, member) can set or change due dates. Contractors see them as read-only on their app.
