Adding Photos and Comments
Keep the conversation on the sign — post comments and add install photos the whole team can see.
Every sign you are linked to has a comment thread and a set of photos. Using them instead of email means the organiser, the designer and the installer all see the same thing, attached to the sign it is about.
Availability
Comments and photos in the customer app are part of the customer portal, included on the Business and Enterprise plans.
Adding a comment
- Open the sign in the app.
- Scroll to the Comments section.
- Type your message and send it.
Your comment appears in the thread straight away and the organiser can reply in the same place. Comments are shown oldest first, so the thread reads as a conversation.
Adding a photo
- Open the sign and go to the Photos section.
- Tap Take Photo to use your camera, or Choose File to pick one from your gallery.
Photos you add sit alongside the installer's, so a "this is what I mean" shot lives right next to the work it refers to. There is a limit of 12 photos per sign across everyone working on it, and you can delete photos you added yourself as long as the sign is not approved yet.
A photo plus one sentence beats a paragraph. When you reject an install, add a photo of the problem at the same time.
What to use where
| Use | Best place |
|---|---|
| Something is wrong with the finished sign | Reject install with a reason, plus a photo |
| The design needs an edit | Request changes during artwork review |
| A question, a heads-up, or extra context | A comment on the sign |
| A brand-new sign is needed | Request a sign |
Working offline
Comments and photos are queued if you are offline and sync automatically once you have a connection again — so you can walk a site with no signal and still capture everything. Only submitting a new sign request and reviewing artwork need you to be online.
